INDIANAPOLIS – The IU Indy volleyball team begins Horizon League play this weekend when they welcome the Wright State Raiders for back-to-back days in the Jungle. The Jags face the Raiders for match one on Friday, September 27 at 6:00 PM and match two on Saturday, September 28 at 3:00 PM.
The Jaguars are 6-7 entering this weekend with most recent wins over Indiana State and Evansville. Junior
Morgan Ostrowski earned Horizon League Player of the Week following her performances in the two wins.
IU Indy has an all-time record of 8-16 against Wright State. The reigning Horizon League champions are 8-3 on the season with big wins over No. 20 Miami and Ohio State. Wright State enters the weekend with a 14.31 kills per set average, currently No. 8 nationally, while the Raiders' 13.49 assists per set average is No. 6 in the country.
