WASHINGTON, D.C. – The IU Indy volleyball team travels to our nation's capital of Washington, D.C. for the DC Showdown this weekend. The Jags will face Georgetown, George Washington and Rider during the two-day event.
IU Indy enters the weekend with a 3-4 mark on the season with most recent wins against Bellarmine and Butler.
Elle Patterson leads the attack with a total of 92 kills so far, including a .286 hitting percentage.
Grace Purichia leads in assists with 230, averaging 8.21 per set. She also has a team-high 14 service aces.
Addie Evans leads the defense with 88 total digs.
The Jags will face Georgetown on Friday, Sept. 13 at 11:00 AM followed by a match against George Washington at 6:00 PM. They will conclude the weekend when they face Rider on Saturday, Sept. 14 at 12:00 PM.
IU Indy's match at George Washington will be streamed on ESPN+.
