CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - Five members of the IU Indianapolis women's golf team were recently named to the 2023-2024 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team. In all, 1,497 student-athletes from 412 collegiate programs were recognized.
In order to be selected, individuals must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better and have played 50 percent of the team's regularly scheduled rounds during the season.
Below are the five Jaguars who earned the award for this past season.
Shelby Busker - 26 rounds, 76.19 average / Biomedical Engineering (3.84 GPA)
Nerea Lancho - 21 rounds, 79.00 average / Finance & International Studies (3.79 GPA)
Madeleine Pape - 23 rounds, 77.74 average / Journalism (3.79 GPA)
Reagan Sohn - 17 rounds, 80.29 average / Health Sciences (4.00 GPA)
Nina Wojtczak - 15 rounds, 82.20 average / Management & Civic Leadership (3.73 GPA)
