INDIANAPOLIS – Women's basketball sharpshooter Katie Davidson earns the first ever 92c Female Athlete of the Week for her efforts in the Jaguar's overtime win over Detroit Mercy.
 
The junior from right here in Indianapolis led the IUPUI women's basketball team to a conference win over Detroit Mercy with her second 30-point game of the season. She totaled 30 points, four rebounds, one assist and one steal in the overtime win. The guard/forward shot 66.7 percent (12-for-18) from the floor and 60 percent (3-for-5) from behind the arc.
 
Davidson leads the Horizon League in scoring with 19.2 points per game. This marks the first 92c Female Athlete of the Week award for Davidson. The women's basketball team will next host Wright State on Thursday, January 11 for a 7:00 PM tipoff.
