SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The IUPUI volleyball team has landed in South Dakota for the two-day tournament hosted by the South Dakota Coyotes this Thursday (Sept. 7) through Friday (Sept. 8). The Jags will face South Florida, South Dakota and Drake during the event.
 
IUPUI enters the week 4-2 and kicks off the tournament with a match against South Florida on Thursday at 4:00 PM. The Bulls of South Florida are 2-3 on the season so far with wins over Mercer and Idaho State.
 
The Jags will then face host South Dakota on Friday at 12:00 PM. The Coyotes are 1-5 on the season with their most recent loss coming from Horizon League foe Northern Kentucky in five sets.
 
After their match with South Dakota, the Jags will face Drake on Friday with a 5:00 PM first serve. The Bulldogs enter the South Dakota Classic with a 2-4 record with wins over Tulsa and Northwestern State. The Jags last face Drake at the 2022 Hampton Inn Invite, where the Bulldogs took a 3-0 win.
 
This past weekend, IUPUI sealed a 2-1 record at the 2023 Hampton Inn Invite with wins over UC Riverside and Oral Roberts. Ava Harris led the attack while Addie Evans led the defense, as both were named to the All-Tournament Team.
