INDIANAPOLIS – The IUPUI men's tennis team fell to Cleveland State on Sunday night, 6-1. Senior
Alex Jochim earned the number two singles point for the Jaguars.
The Jaguars fell behind early dropping the doubles point to the Vikings. Jochim and
Emil Jankowski lost in the number one spot, 6-3 and the partnership of
Kamil Kozerski and
Tom Ciszewski fell at number three doubles, 6-0.
Cleveland State took five out of the six singles matches to seal the 6-1 win. Jochim earned the sole point for IUPUI in the number two singles spot, 6-3, 6-2. Ciszewski fell in the number one spot, 6-2, 6-3 while
Colton Morehart lost at number three singles in three sets, 6-2, 4-6, 6-2. Kozerski lost in the number four spot, 6-1, 6-4 and Jankowski fell at number five singles in three sets, 6-2, 3-6, 6-1.
Noah Viste rounded out the lineup in the sixth spot falling in three sets, 1-6, 6-2, 6-4.
IUPUI finishes out the season next weekend on Saturday, April 22 at Chicago State with first serve scheduled for 2:30 PM.
