INDIANAPOLIS – The IUPUI volleyball team travels east to begin a two-game road trip on Friday, Sept. 30. The Jags will face Youngstown State on Friday at 6:00 PM then travel to Robert Morris on Saturday, Oct. 1 to close out the weekend trip with a match starting at 4:00 PM.
IUPUI is coming off a 3-1 victory over Milwaukee. Freshman
Morgan Ostrowski leads the team in hitting percentage (.219) with a minimum of ten sets played while sophomore
Briana Brown leads the team in kills with 191.
Brooke Phillips holds the title of ace with a team-high 27 service aces.
Addie Evans leads the Jaguar defense with 4.67 digs per set and a total of 266 digs.
Youngstown State enters the weekend 6-9 overall and 0-4 in conference with losses to Cleveland State, Milwaukee, Green Bay and Oakland. Paula Gursching led the Penguins with 20 kills in their most recent loss to conference foe Oakland. First serve against the Penguins will be on Friday, Sept. 30 at 6:00 PM.
The Jags will then face Robert Morris on Saturday, Oct. 1 at 4:00 PM. The Colonials enter the weekend 7-9 overall and 0-4 in conference. Freshman setter Kaitlyn Brown recorded her third double-double this season in the Colonials loss to Cleveland State with 24 assists and 10 digs.
Both matches will be on ESPN+.
