INDIANAPOLIS – The IUPUI volleyball team improved to 6-6 on the season last weekend at the CEFCU Classic and now return home to open Horizon League play against Green Bay on Tuesday (Sept. 20) at 6 PM.
The Jags are coming off a 2-1 weekend at the CEFCU Classic where they defeated Bradley and St. Thomas. Senior
Allie Pogue led the attack and was named to the All-Tournament Team. Sophomore
Briana Brown is third in the Horizon League in kills with 3.40 kills per set.
Brooke Phillips is third in service aces with 19 aces while
Addie Evans is third with 5.04 digs per set.
Green Bay is 9-5 overall, sweeping their home invitational last weekend with wins over North Dakota, Drake, SIUE and Western Illinois. Cora Behnke was named Tournament MVP while Kayla Lass and Calli Gentry were named to the All-Tournament Team.
IUPUI last face the Phoenix on October 24, 2021, when the Jags feel 3-0. Overall, Green Bay leads the all-time series 5-12.
