INDIANAPOLIS – The IUPUI women's basketball team and head coach Kate Bruce named Hannah Blake as the Director of Basketball Operations.

"I'm excited to add Hannah to our Jaguar family," says head coach Bruce. "She comes from a winning background as both a student-athlete and coach. Most importantly, Hannah is a person of high character who will be another wonderful mentor and role model to our student-athletes."

The Montpelier, Ohio native joins the IUPUI staff after spending the last season as a graduate assistant for Bruce at Walsh University where she helped the coaching staff and team earn a 28-5 record and an NCAA Sweet Sixteen appearance.

Prior to working as a graduate assistant at Walsh, Blake played four years at Walsh for Coach Bruce from 2016 to 2020. During her time as an athlete, the Cavaliers won back-to-back GMAC championships (regular season and tournament champs). They made two NCAA tournament appearances in 2019 and 2020 and during the 2019-20 season the Cavs recorded the best record in program history of 28-2.

"I'm elated to be joining this phenomenal program and more importantly, the IUPUI family," said Blake. "Getting to work alongside head coach Kate Bruce, at such a respected organization is truly an honor. Jags Roar!"
