IUPUI CLOSES OUT SEASON WITH LOSS AT UIC, 5-0

Jags finish the 2022 season 12-38, 9-17 HL

CHICAGO, Ill. – The IUPUI softball team closed out their 2022 season with a loss at UIC on Sunday afternoon, 5-0. The Jags recorded four hits in the loss.
 
IUPUI and UIC were still scoreless heading into the fifth inning when the Flames scored five runs on three hits in the bottom half of the fifth. The five runs were all it took as the Jags were held scoreless.
 
Morgan Gilbert, Mackenzie Myars, Amber Pagan and Kasie Keyes each recorded a hit in the loss. Madison Bryant took the loss on the mound giving up five runs (all unearned) on four hits with six strikeouts in six innings of work.
 
The Jags finish out the season 12-38 overall and 9-17 in Horizon League play.
