On Sunday, IUPUI faced the Vikings in a doubleheader. The Jags fell in both games with the Vikings taking the first game 12-9 and the second 1-0 in eight innings.

Game one was heavily affected by errors when the Jags totaled six errors compared to Cleveland State's two. The Vikings tallied six runs on one hit and two errors in the top of the first inning.

IUPUI fought back to cut the lead to three at 6-3 with three runs on one hit and one error in the bottom of the first inning. In the bottom half of the second frame the Jags took the lead with six runs on four hits. Morgan Gilbert walked to start the inning followed by a bunt single by Kendal Calvert to place runners on first and second, then Gregory walked to load the bases. With the bases still loaded and only one out, Mackenzie Myars doubled to left field to score two runs and give the Jags a 7-6 lead.
