DAYTON, Ohio – The IUPUI volleyball team is closing in on the last four matches of the season with their last road trip this weekend at Wright State (Friday, Nov. 4) and Northern Kentucky (Saturday, Nov. 5). Both matches will be broadcast on ESPN+.
 
The Jags will first travel to Dayton, Ohio on Friday, November 4 where they will face Wright State, who currently sits atop the Horizon League standings with a 14-0 record in the league and 22-3 overall. The Raiders are 47th in the country with 12.60 assists/set with Lainey Stephenson collecting 10.66 assists/set. They also hold the 17th spot in the nation with 1,295 kills. IUPUI previously played Wright State on October 8, falling in three sets, 3-0.
 
On Saturday, November 5 the Jags will face No. 2 in the Horizon League standings, Northern Kentucky (13-12, 11-3 HL). The Norse won eight matches straight until they were defeated by Wright State on Tuesday, 3-2. Anna Brinkmann totaled 16 kills, 22 digs and two blocks in the loss. IUPUI previously faced the Norse on October 7, falling in three sets, 3-0.
 
For the Jags, Briana Brown leads the attack with 3.42 kills/set which is the fourth best in the Horizon League. Brooke Phillips has recorded 43 service aces which is the most in the league while Addie Evans leads the defense with 4.28 digs/set.
 
Both matches will be on ESPN+ with Friday's match against Wright State starting at 6:00 PM and first serve at 4:00 PM on Saturday at Northern Kentucky.
