ROCHESTER, Mich. – The IUPUI volleyball team begins a weekend road trip when they travel to Oakland on Friday night, October 14 at 6:00 PM against the Golden Grizzles followed by Cleveland State on Saturday, October 15 in Ohio at 4:00 PM.
The Jags enter the weekend 9-10 and 3-4 in conference after falling to Northern Kentucky and Wright State this past week. Sophomore
Briana Brown leads the Jaguar attack with 3.46 kills/set followed by
Allie Pogue with 2.77 kills/set.
Addie Evans leads the defense with 4.61 digs/set while
Brooke Phillips leads the team in service aces with 33 total aces.
Darragh Dixon leads the Jags in assists with 5.48 per set.
The Golden Grizzles are 3-4 in #HLVB play and 7-12 overall after coming off a loss to Milwaukee. Patti Cesarini leads the attack with 3.65 kills/set while Clarke Adams adds 2.14 kills/set. Emily Wichmann is the top defender with 5.14 digs/set. The Jags and Golden Grizzles will face off at 6:00 PM on Friday.
On Saturday, October 15 the Jags travel to Ohio to face Cleveland State at 4:00 PM. The Vikings are 3-4 in conference play following a 3-0 sweep over Oakland. Cleveland State ranks second in blocking in the Horizon League with 2.41 blocks/set. Laken Voss averages 3.42 kills/set with 226 total kills to lead the Vikings attack.
