INDIANAPOLIS – The Jags earned a close win against #HLWBB foe Green Bay at the Jungle on Thursday night, 51-49. With one second left in the fourth quarter
Anna Mortag made a jumper to give IUPUI the lead to seal the win.
Madison Wise led the Jags with 11 points and
Morgan Allen was close behind with 10 points.
Rachel Kent came up big under the basket with seven rebounds and led the team in assists with a career-high eight.

Austin Parkinson. "Anna was so patient on the last play and timed her pull up perfectly for the game winner."
IUPUI faced some challenges coming into the game, having a few players out due to Covid-19 protocol but the Jags fought hard and pulled out the win. Starters,
Rachel McLimore (7 points), Kent (7),
Natalie Andersen (5), Wise and Allen set the pace for the Jags to keep the game close. There was a total of eight ties in the game.
"I'm so proud of our kids tonight. They have had so many challenges thrown their way and they just found a way to grind out a win," said Parkinson.
Mortag came off the bench and scored nine points, including the game winning shot, and led the Jags in rebounds with eight. Freshman
Jacquel Bronaugh added two points and one rebounds. IUPUI shot 41.3 percent (19-for-46) from the floor and 60.0 percent (6-for-10) from the free throw line. They lady Jags defense held the Phoenix to 38.2 percent (21-for-55) from the floor.
