INDIANAPOLIS - IUPUI sophomore midfielder Logan Finnegan has been named the Horizon League Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Tuesday (Sept. 7). Finnegan made a triumphant return to his home state last week, powering the Jaguars to a 1-0 road win at Western Illinois on Friday (Sept. 3). 

Finnegan broke a scoreless stalemate in the 78th minute, drawing a foul that resulted in a penalty kick. He then converted the PK opportunity for his first career score. 

The win moved IUPUI back to .500 on the season with all three matches having been played on the road. The victory also gave IUPUI its first road win since September 2019 and first non-conference road win since August 2015.
