INDIANAPOLIS – IUPUI men's tennis took the doubles point but could not pull out a point in singles play as the Jags lost to Cleveland State 6-1 on Saturday (April 24).
 
IUPUI jumped out quickly with a 6-1 win in the No. 1 doubles match with the duo of Alex Jochim and Emil Jankowski picked up the victory. After Cleveland State earned a 6-4 win at No. 2, Blessing Benibo and Colton Morehart won the No. 3 match, 7-6(7-4) to give the Jags the doubles point.
 
The Vikings beat the Jags in straight sets in the next four matches to take the match overall. In the No. 5 match, Morehart won his first set 6-2 but lost 6-4, 6-3 in the second and third sets. Benibo went to tie breaks in both of his sets but fell in the No. 6 match 7-6(7-1), 7-6(7-4).

IUPUI and Cleveland State will meet to close out the regular season on Sunday (April 25) at 2 p.m. at the West Indy Racquet Club.
