INDIANAPOLIS – IUPUI men's tennis picked up two singles wins but the Jags closed out the regular season with a 5-2 loss to Cleveland State.
 
The Jags dropped the doubles point after falling 6-3 in the No. 2 match and 7-6(7-4) in the No. 1 match. Colton Morehart and Blessing Benibo were tied 6-6 in the No. 3 match when play ended.
 
In singles play, IUPUI picked up a win in the No. 6 match with Eric Hollingsworth winning 6-1, 6-2. Emil Jankowski picked up the other win for the Jags with a 6-2, 6-2 victory at the No. 4 spot. Alex Jochim's No. 2 match went three sets but Jochim eventually lost 3-6, 6-1, 6-2.
 
UP NEXT
IUPUI will take part in the Horizon League Tournament next weekend as the No. 4 seed. The Jags will face off against No. 1 seed Cleveland State on Saturday (May 1) on the campus of Purdue.
