CHICAGO - IUPUI men's tennis got in the win column with a 5-2 victory at UIC on Sunday (April 18).
The Jags made quick work of the Flames in doubles play.
Colton Morehart and
Blessing Benibo teamed for a 6-0 win at No. 3.
Alex Jochim and
Emil Jankowski clinched the doubles point with a 6-1 win at No. 1.
Sean Bailey added the next point for the Jags with a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 3 and Jankowski's 7-5, 7-5 win at No. 4 put IUPUI one point away from the match.
Ethan Mardanus-Budiono earned the match point for IUPUI with a 6-1, 4-6, 6-3 win at No. 1. The last IUPUI point came from
Eric Hollingsworth with a 6-3, 2-6, 7-5 win at No. 5.
UP NEXT
IUPUI will play its final two matches of the regular season at home next weekend against Cleveland State. The Jags will take on the Vikings on Saturday (April 24) and Sunday (April 25). Both matches will take place at West Indy Racquet Club.
