YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – IUPUI men's tennis dropped its Horizon League opener by a score of 5-2 against Youngstown State on Saturday (March 27).

The Jaguars earned their two points with two three-set wins to close out play against the Penguins. Alex Jochim earned a win at No. 1 singles with a 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 win. In the No. 6 singles match, Eric Hollingsworth picked up a 6-3, 2-6, 6-4 victory.

Youngstown State earned the doubles point with wins at No. 1 (6-4,) and No. 2 (7-5). Colton Morehart and Blessing Benibo were up 6-5 in the No. 3 doubles match when play was ended.

In the rest of singles play Youngstown State earned three straight-set wins and in the No. 4 match, Morehart last in three sets, falling 6-4, 6-7, 5-10.

IUPUI and Youngstown State will play again on Sunday (March 28) at 1 p.m.
