YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – IUPUI men's tennis picked up one singles win but lost 6-1 to Youngstown State on Sunday (March 28) to end the first weekend of Horizon League play.
Ethan Mardanus-Budiono was the lone Jag to win his singles match, winning in three sets, 6-3, 2-6, 6-3. Two other singles matches went three sets but IUPUI came out on the wrong end of both of them.
Sean Bailey lost his No. 3 match 6-4, 2-6, 1-6 and Nick Moody lost 2-6, 6-2, 4-6 at No. 6.
In doubles play, the team of
Colton Morehart and
Blessing Benibo won their No. 3 doubles match 6-3. IUPUI lost 7-6 (7-4) in the No. 2 doubles match and 6-3 in the No. 1 doubles match, allowing Youngstown State to earn the point.

IUPUI will be home for matches against Northern Kentucky on Saturday (April 3) and Sunday (April 4) as Horizon League play rolls on.
