CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The IUPUI women's track and field team will open its outdoor season on Saturday (Mar. 27) when the Jaguars compete in the Yellow Jacket Collegiate Open, hosted by Cedarville University. The Jaguars will run out a full roster this weekend as the meet will begin at 10:00 a.m.. 

Saturday marks the Jags first outdoor meet since the 2019 Horizon League Outdoor Championships in Youngstown, Ohio. 

Four members of the IUPUI squad are current school record holders as Lauren Palmer holds school records in the 100 and 200; Marie Terry holds the school record in the 400m hurdles; Kelly Zehnder is the record holder in triple jump and pole vault and Mikayla Miller is the current record holder in the javelin.

On the track, Sabrina Elder will run the 1,500m event after winning the 800m event at the Horizon League Indoor Championships. True freshman Hannah Sale will compete in the 5,000m event after earning second team All-Horizon League honors in cross country as the team's top finisher. 

Amani Miles will compete in the 200 and 400m events, while also running on the 4x100 relay team. 

In the field events, true freshman Sabrina Robison will look to continue her success in the pole vault from the indoor season while Zehnder will compete in the pole vault, triple jump and long jump. 

The duo of Miller and Kayla Wolnik will be busy on Saturday as they gear up for multis later this season.
