GREEN BAY, Wis. – IUPUI volleyball dropped a three-set match to being a two-game set at Green Bay on Monday (Feb. 1). Freshman
Emily Alan led the Jags with six kills in the match.
Behind Alan,
Maddie Haines was second on the team with four kills and
Millai Madison and
Allie Pogue each added three.
Darragh Dixon finished the match with 15 assists.
On defense,
Rhiannon Schuenemann collected 13 digs to lead the team and IUPUI (0-3 Horizon) combined for five blocks, led by two from Alan.
"I though Emily was a bright spot for us both on offense and at the block," said head coach
Lindsey Froehlich. "It was nice to see us minimize our service errors but this is just one that we have to put behind us a move on to tomorrow."
IUPUI had a strong game on the service line finishing with six total aces, three coming from
Allison Cook.
Green Bay (1-2 Horizon) was led by Alexandra Zakutney and Iro Chounta with 10 kills each.
The Jags and Phoenix will face off again on Tuesday (Feb. 2) at 3 p.m. ET.
