INDIANAPOLIS – The IUPUI women's basketball team's comeback fell short as the Jags fell to in-state rival Ball State, 73-67. Graduate student
Macee Williams led the Jaguars with 19 points, seven rebounds and one steal.
Destiny Perkins followed with four rebounds, four assists and a season-high 16 points, all coming from behind the arc. Junior
Natalie Andersen came off the bench and added a season-high 15 points and led the team in rebounds with eight.

Natalie Andersen kept us in the game with her performance," said head coach
Austin Parkinson. "Give all the credit to Ball State with the way they came out of the gate and the toughness they played with throughout the game."
Ball State took the lead early in the first quarter, 20-6, and stayed on top the entire game until
Macee Williams shot a free throw to tie the game at 67 with two minutes left to go in the game. The late Jaguar comeback started in the third quarter with IUPUI outscoring the Cardinals 22-18 in the third quarter and 23-19 in the fourth.
Starters
Rachel Kent added eight points, two rebounds and two assists while
Madison Wise added five points, five rebounds and two assists.
Rachel McLimore followed with three points and four assists.
IUPUI finished the game at 40.7 percent (24-for-59) from the floor and 25.8 percent (8-for-31) at the three-point line while holding Ball State to just 19 percent (4-for-21) beyond the arc. The Jags totaled 15 assists on 24 shots with 34 rebounds.
