About IUPUI
- The Jags boast an extremely young roster with seven of the ten players being underclassmen. Rhiannon Schuenemann is the lone senior on the team and the roster has only two juniors, Shakana Norfleet and newcomer Rachel Funkhouser.

- IUPUI's offense lost a lot of firepower from last season with the top-five players in kills/set not returning. Allie Pogue is the leading offensive producer from last season at 1.75 kills/set during her freshman year.

- Transfer Darragh Dixon will be getting a lot of time at setter as the only true setter on the roster. Dixon played at Long Island as a freshman and was second on the team with 3.12 assists per set.

- IUPUI will have to find a way to replace one of the best blockers in school history as Haley Hoffman graduated last year. Hoffman holds multiple school records for blocks in a match and career block numbers. Last season Hoffman averaged 1.24 blocks per set, sophomore Corrissa Remter will try to fill that hole after finishing second on the team with 0.94 blocks per set.

- The freshman class for IUPUI features three players with two hoping help Remter in the middle. Millai Madison comes to IUPUI from Evansville, Ind., and Emily Alan joins the team form Burlington, Wis. Maddie Haines is the other freshman, also hailing from the Badger state (Pleasant Prairie, Wis.). The Jags feature seven players from the Hoosier State and the other three players hail from head coach Lindsey Froehlich's home state of Wisconsin.

Last Time Against Youngstown State
In the last meeting with the Penguins, IUPUI earned a five set win, one of three Horizon League wins for the Jags last season. IUPUI was down 2-1 but took the fourth set before winning set five 15-9. Allie Pogue led the team with 19 kills and Rhiannon Schuenemann tallied 23 digs to lead the Jags on defense. While Youngstown State's offense was consistent for most of the match, IUPUI swung wildly, hitting .184 and .067 in the sets its lost and .412, .233 and .364 in the sets it won.
