Macee Williams earned her fourth Horizon League Player of the Week award this season, the league announced Monday (Feb. 3). Williams earned the honor after helping IUPUI push its winning streak to 10.
Williams was a force for IUPUI, averaging 20.5 points and 11 rebounds in the Jags two wins as IUPUI pushed its winning streak to 10. In the win over Cleveland State, Williams led the Jags with 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds, while dishing out three assists. Williams then posted a 25-point, 15-rebound game against Youngstown State. The junior also chipped in two steals and a block on the week.
Williams is third in the league with 16.7 points per game and leads the league with 9.2 rebounds per contest.
Williams and the rest of the Jaguars are on the road for the next four games beginning with a game at Detroit Mercy on Thursday (Feb. 6).
