MILWAUKEE, Wis. – IUPUI men's tennis had its two-game winning streak snapped as the Jaguars fell to Marquette, 6-1 on Saturday (Feb. 16).

IUPUI (6-4) earned its lone point in the No. 6 singles match as Eric Hollingsworth won a close battle 7-6, 7-5. The senior has now won three-straight singles matches and is 5-4 in singles play this season.
The Jags dropped the doubles point losing 6-1 in the No. 1 match and 6-3 in the No. 3 match.

Marquette quickly closed out the match as Bradley Luetschwager was beaten 6-0, 6-2 at No. 5, Colton Morehart fell at No. 2 6-1, 6-3 and Sean Bailey lost in three sets, 4-6, 6-4, 1-0.

After the Golden Eagles had clinched the match win, Alex Jochim lost 6-4, 6-1 at the No. 1 spot and Ethan Mardanus-Budiono had his six-match winning streak snapped with a 6-2, 6-4 loss at No. 4.

The Jags will return home, where they are a perfect 4-0 on the season, to take on Dayton on Friday (Feb. 22) at 12 p.m. at the West Indy Racquet Club.
