CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – IUPUI women's tennis was not able to pick up a point against Austin Peay on Friday morning (Feb. 15), falling to the Governors, 7-0.

The Jaguars began the match earning the first doubles win as the team of Krystal Grubb and Gabrielle Ochalik won at No. 1, 6-4. After losing 6-4 at No. 2, the team of Sarah Lounsbury and Samantha Hayward went to a tie break but fell 7-6 (7-5).

In singles play, the Governors made quick work of the Jags, taking all six matches in two sets. Mariella Pessina forced a tie break in the second set of her No. 4 match but lost 6-3, 7-6 (7-5) and Samantha Hayward lost in a tie break 7-4 in the first set but fell 6-0 in the second set of her No. 6 match.

IUPUI will be back in action on Saturday (Feb. 16) taking on Belmont at 5 p.m. in Nashville, Tenn.
