INDIANAPOLIS – IUPUI men's tennis continued its strong start to the season with a 6-1 win over Saint Louis on Friday (Feb. 1).

IUPUI (4-2) began the match by cruising by the Billikens in doubles as Alex Jochim and Colton Morehart remained undefeated as a team with a 6-2 win at No. 1. Bradley Luetschwager, playing in his first match of the spring season, teamed with Kyle Whittaker to take the No. 2 match 6-4.

In singles play, Luetschwager finished his match first, winning the No. 5 match 6-1, 6-4 and Ethan Mardanus-Budiono won his fourth-straight singles match, winning 6-2, 6-3 at No. 4. The Jags clinched the match as Jochim won 6-3, 6-3 at No. 1. Morehart earned the Jags sixth point of the night with a three set win 6-4, 4-6, 10-6.

The Jags will be on the road on Sunday to take on No. 13 Notre Dame with the match starting at 5 p.m.
