MILWAUKEE, Wis. – IUPUI women's tennis dropped its match against Milwaukee on Sunday before having its match against Green Bay cancelled because of heavy winter weather.
Samantha Mayer earned the Jags (4-16, 0-7 Horizon) only point in their 6-1 loss to the Panthers as Mayer took her No. 3 singles match 6-0, 7-5.
IUPUI did earn a win in the No. 2 doubles match as the duo of
Krystal Grubb and
Mariella Pessina won 6-4.
IUPUI has three matches remaining on its schedule and all of them will take place at the West Indy Racquet Club. The Jags will face off in its last non-conference match of the season as they play host to Notre Dame on Wednesday (April 18) at 5:30 p.m.
IUPUI will then close out the regular season with two Horizon League matches, taking on Cleveland State on Saturday (April 21) at 11:30 a.m. and Youngstown State on Sunday (April 22) at 9 a.m.
