MILWAUKEE, Wisc. - The IUPUI men's soccer team's road woes continued on Saturday night (Oct. 28) as the Jaguars were outgunned at Milwaukee, 3-0 at Engelmann Stadium. The host Panthers scored twice in the game's opening 16 minutes and coasted from there, outshooting the Jags 21-8 on the evening.

UWM's Jaime Colin netted the game-winner in the eighth minute and Evan Conway had a goal and an assist for the victors.

Conway helped setup Colin's third score of the year with a give-and-go before Colin snuck a shot past redshirt freshman Michael Buck. Less than eight minutes later, Conway took advantage of an IUPUI turnover deep it's own territory before firing a shot past Buck for his seventh score of the year.

IUPUI (0-13-2, 0-8 Horizon) wasn't without chances in the first half though as senior Uriel Macias put an attempt on frame in the 26th minute that UWM (9-5-3, 5-3 Horizon) goalkeeper Freddy Lorenzen plucked. In the closing seconds of the half, Macias sent a restart high of target after IUPUI drew a foul in Milwaukee territory.

Milwaukee pushed the lead to 3-0 in the 64th minute when Jake Kelderman scored on a header for the game's final score.

IUPUI's best scoring chances in the second half both came from junior back Sam Gavin. Gavin put a restart on target in the 67th minute and redirected a Cameron Petersen corner kick on frame in the 88th minute.

Macias attempted a team-high three shots while Gavin finished with two. UWM's Nick Moon led all players with five shot attempts.

Buck closed with three saves while Lorenzen made four stops in the shutout victory.

With the loss, IUPUI fell to 0-3 all-time against the Panthers.

IUPUI will return home to host Fort Wayne at 7:00 p.m. at Carroll Stadium on Halloween (Oct. 31). That match will be broadcast on ESPN3 as Morgan Adcock (pxp) will be on the call in the Jaguars' final home match of the season.
