QUOTABLE

"I want to see a response (to the loss). We've got to continue to work on the little things as we look ahead to Northern Illinois and correct those mistakes to fully put ourselves in a position to win," said head coach Brian Barnett after the Jaguars' 2-0 loss to Western Illinois last Friday.

SCOUTING THE JAGUARS

IUPUI comes in at 0-7 on the season with six of the seven losses coming on the road. The Jaguars have gotten goals from Jordan Parron and Uriel Macias and rookie midfielder Pedro Valladao has IUPUI's lone assist.

Fellow sophomore Nick Anderson is second among field players with 504 minutes and Jordan Parron is third with 483 minutes. All total, 17 different Jaguars have started at least one match this season and Anderson and Thornton are the only two to have started all six thus far.

The Jags are 1-0 at home against the Huskies, having won 1-0 in 2004.
NIU won last year's meeting 2-0 in DeKalb, tallying goals in the 18th and 27th minutes. Gray played the final 16-plus minutes in goal and made a pair of saves.
