INSIDE THE SERIES

LAST TIME OUT
IUPUI is coming off a 3-1 loss at Omaha on Saturday, Oct. 1 to slip to 0-2 in Summit League play. The host Mavs built a quick 2-0 lead in the opening 20 minutes before Ayala cut the margin in half with his first goal of the year.
However, the Jags just missed knotting the score when senior
Cristian Soto ripped a shot off the crossbar midway through the first half and the Mavs added insurance on a restart early in the second half on way to a 3-1 win.
UP NEXT
IUPUI will return home to host No. 8 Denver on Friday night (Oct. 7) at 7:00 p.m. at Carroll Stadium.
