INDIANAPOLIS - The IUPUI men's soccer team will host a non-conference match on Wednesday night (Oct. 26) against Northern Kentucky at the on-campus Michael A. Carroll Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. and IUPUI students are admitted for FREE with a valid JagTag.
Parking is free at IUPUI home soccer matches inside the surface lot immediately across from the main entrance to Carroll Stadium off New York Street.

SCOUTING THE JAGUARS (1-13 overall, 0-4 Summit)
IUPUI is 1-13 on the year and has dropped six straight since the 2-0 win over Northern Illinois. Junior
Uriel Macias leads the team with three goals and 27 shot attempts and nine shots on goal. Juniors
Joshua Ayala and
Jordan Parron also have goals while Ayala and freshman
Pedro Valladao have a team-high two assists.
Defensively, sophomore
Josh Gray has started 13 of the 14 matches in goal and has a 2.46 goals against average and 64 saves for a .667 save percentage.
SCOUTING NORTHERN KENTUCKY (1-11-3 overall, 1-6 away)
Northern Kentucky is 1-11-3 overall and 1-6 in seven road matches this season. The Norse's lone victory of the year was a 1-0 victory at Belmont on Oct. 15. Campbell Morris leads NKU with three goals, including the game-winner against Belmont. Kobie Qualah has two goals and Anders Mathiesen has two assists.
Defensively, Owen Betz leads four NKU keepers with 567 minutes played and Christian Carey has played 505 minutes. Betz has a 1.11 goals against average and 27 saves in two shutouts. Carey has a 2.32 GAA and 19 saves while two others have combined on 359 minutes, 12 saves and nine goals allowed.
ACADEMIC HONORS
Head Coach Brian Barnett's Jaguars earned NSCAA All-Academic Team honors on Thursday for their work in the classroom during the 2015-16 year. The men's team registered a 3.32 grade point average during the 2015-16 academic year, collecting the program's seventh award in school history (2004, 2007, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2015 & 2016).
INSIDE THE SERIES
IUPUI is 2-2-2 all-time against NKU after the two sides played to a 2-2 draw in Highland Heights a season ago. Sophomore
Jared O'Dell had a big night, netting a goal and an assist while Gray earned his first collegiate decision with two saves in 65 minutes off the bench.
LAST TIME OUT
IUPUI is coming off a 2-0 loss to Detroit last week at Carroll Stadium. After a lengthy delay at the start of the contest, Detroit blitzed the Jags with two goals in the opening 15 minutes of the match. Soto, Valladao and
Yan Souza paced the Jaguars with three shots each as IUPUI outshot the Titans, 12-9.
Gray made four saves and yielded two goals in net.
