INDIANAPOLIS - The IUPUI men's soccer team will take on Cincinnati at 7:00 p.m. at Michael A. Carroll Stadium on Wednesday night (Oct. 12) in a match that will be seen live on IUPUIJags.com. Scott Agness (pxp) will call the action from the stadium. Admission is FREE for IUPUI students with a valid JagTag and adult tickets are just $5. Discounted tickets are available for IUPUI faculty and staff members.Â

SCOUTING THE JAGUARS
    IUPUI sits at 1-10 on the season with eight of the 10 losses coming on the road. Junior
Uriel Macias leads the team in goals (3), points (6), shots (20) and shots on goal (7) while juniors
Joshua Ayala and
Jordan Parron have the team's other goals. Ayala and freshman
Pedro Valladao have a team-high two assists on the season.Â

Josh Gray has started 10 of the team's 11 matches in goal and has a 2.50 goals against average and 52 saves. Redshirt freshman
James Mitchison made the other start and has four saves on the year.Â
  Sophomore back
Nick Anderson leads the field players with 864 minutes and is the lone Jaguar to have started all 11 games this season. Despite missing the last two outings, sophomore
Ben Thornton is second on the club with 808 minutes played.
    With his start at SIUE, senior
Cameron Knox became the 20th different Jaguar to have started at least one match this season.
SCOUTING CINCINNATI (6-4-1 overall, 2-2-1 away)
  Cincinnati is 6-4-1 on the year and 2-2-1 in five road matches. The Bearcats have outscored their foes 15-14 on the year and dialed up five shutouts defensively.Â
  Nine different UC players have at least one goal, led by Ryan Melink's three scores. Adam Wilson has a team-high six assists and 10 points in 11 games. Wilson also leads the team in shot attempts (39) and shots on goal (20).
  In goal, Pedro Diaz has started all 11 matches and has a 1.23 goals against average and 53 saves. Diaz has all five shutouts and a .791 save percentage.Â
ACADEMIC HONORS
  Head Coach Brian Barnett's Jaguars earned NSCAA All-Academic Team honors on Thursday for their work in the classroom during the 2015-16 year. The men's team registered a 3.32 grade point average during the 2015-16 academic year, collecting the program's seventh award in school history (2004, 2007, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2015 & 2016).Â

INSIDE THE SERIES
  IUPUI is 2-3 all-time against Cincinnati. The Bearcats won last year's meeting 2-1 as Thornton scored the Jags lone goal in that game's 67th minute.Â
    The series began in 2004 with a 2-1 IUPUI win in Cincinnati. The Jags also collected a 3-2 double overtime win over the Bearcats on Oct. 15, 2014.Â
LAST TIME OUT
  IUPUI dropped a 1-0 Summit League heartbreaker to No. 7 Denver at Carroll Stadium on Friday night (Oct. 7) as the Pioneers AJ Fuller tallied the lone goal late in the first half.Â
    IUPUI was limited to just four shots, but had multiple quality scoring chances, primarily from
