Live VideoCINCINNATI, Ohio - The IUPUI men's and women's swimming and diving teams will be back in the water on Friday night (Oct. 30) as the Jaguars participate in a dual meet against local foe Cincinnati at Keating Aquatics Center. Action is expected to begin at 5:00 p.m. and live video will be available via UC's website.
IUPUI posted emphatic wins over Eastern Illinois in a low-key meet back on Oct. 17. The men coasted to a 138-65 win while the women coasted, 142-60. Despite the rigorous preseason training schedule, Head Coach
Matt Bos' teams are looking to shed time over earlier season marks.
"Like everyone else, October is a hard training month for us," IUPUI Head Coach
Matt Bos said. "We're going into a place we've never been and swimming against a good team. We're a little beat up right now, especially on the men's side of things, but we're hoping to swim well.
"With the renovations going on in the Natatorium, we've had an abbreviated early season schedule, so more than anything, we're just taking advantage of a chance to swim against a good team in a competitive environment."

Ben Levart set an IUPUI record in the 1000 free at EIU, swimming a time of 9:36.00 and stands third in The Summit League heading into the weekend. Just behind him, fellow freshman
