Up front, senior
Mitch Patton is putting together a solid season, ranking second on the team at 11.7 points per game and 5.4 rebounds a game. His 13 blocked shots are also second on the team and he's shooting 46.4 percent from the field.Â
Chiles and
Khufu Najee combined for 46 points in the earlier loss to SEMO, teaming to hit 16-of-27 field goal tries and 5-of-11 from three. Barksdale finished with nine boards and seven assists, but SEMO's Tyler Stone was the day's top performer with 22 points, 14 boards and three blocked shots.Â
IUPUI led 65-63 on a Patton layup with 3:27 remaining, but SEMO scored the game's next 12 points, including back-to-back threes from Darrian Gray and Tyler Stone to seal the deal.Â
SEMO had a five-game winning streak from Nov. 22 through Dec. 7 before dropping a 75-69 home contest to UIC on Dec. 14. The Redhawks have dropped two straight following a 77-65 defeat at Memphis on Saturday.Â
JC-transfer Jarekious Bradley leads the club at 19.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game while Stone checks in at 18.7 points and 9.0 rebounds per contest. Collectively, SEMO scores 83.7 points a night and shoots 49.7 percent from the field. The Redhawks are also proficient on the glass, outrebounding opponents by nearly five caroms a contest.Â
