The Jags found themselves in a similar situation on Saturday evening winning the first two sets over South Dakota before the Coyotes rallied to force a fifth set. However, the Jaguars downed USD 15-11 in the final set to preserve the win.

In the win, Shari Bernhardt posted 42 digs making her IUPUI’s all-time leader in digs with 2,080, surpassing Erin Jones’ record of 2,067. Bethany Fogler also became IUPUI’s single-season leader in block assists while becoming the first player in program history to surpass the century mark in block assists in a season. On the year, Fogler is tied for the single-season lead in solo blocks and already holds the single-season total blocks and block assists records.
