INDIANAPOLIS - Coming off its best outcome of the 2011 season, the IUPUI men's soccer team will continue the homestand when it hosts UMKC in Summit League action on Saturday (Oct. 8) at 2:00 p.m.. IUPUI is just 4-9-1 all-time against the Kangaroos and haven't won in the series since 2007.
However, the Jaguars are coming off an offensive explosion of sorts, having beaten crosstown rival Butler on Tuesday night, 3-0 at Kuntz Stadium. IUPUI (2-7-2, 0-0-1 Summit) came in having scored just four goals in its first 10 matches before tallying three times on Tuesday. Sophomore

Agaba and Block lead the team with two goals each and with Agaba leading the squad with five points total. Junior
Kyle Hyland leads the squad in total shot attempts, having fired 15 through 11 games.
For Block, it was his first two goals of his college career and Snider moved into a first-place tie in The Summit League in assists per game at 0.43. Keever continued his netminding brilliance, lowering his goals against average to 1.25 and upping his save percentage to .767. He stuffed his former club teammate Blake Leyden twice in the second half on golden opportunities to register his ninth career shutout.
UMKC (4-4-1, 1-0 Summit) has allowed just two goals in the past five games, going 4-0-1 during that stretch. The 'Roos opened league play with a 1-0 win over Oakland thanks to an own goal in the game's 81st minute. This season, David Sarabia and Chris Markey lead the squad with two goals each as the 'Roos have been outscored 13-8 by their opponents. In net, three different goalkeepers have combined on a 1.41 goals against average and 41 total saves. Kyle Martin has played the bulk of the minutes, allowing four goals in his five starts.
