IUPUI vs. Western Illinois – Live Stats | Live Video

INDIANAPOLIS – The IUPUI volleyball team will be in search of their fourth straight conference victory and third consecutive road victory when it travels to Macomb, Ill., on Saturday, Oct. 8, to take on Western Illinois.

LAST TIME OUT
The Jaguars used length rallies to pick up come-from-behind wins at both South Dakota and UMKC improving their Summit League record to 3-4.

Kelsey Hoefer and Moriah Fair paced the Jaguars in their first ever meeting against the Coyotes with 13 kills apiece, before clutch kills from Meredith Farkas helped the Jags erase five- and six-point deficits in sets one and three against UMKC.

While Farkas lifted the offense against the Kangaroos, it was IUPUI’s defense that proved to be the difference maker. Bethany Fogler tied the school record for most total blocks in a match with 10, while also setting a new school record for most blocks in a three-set match. Additionally, Hoefer also set a new career-high with six total blocks.

For her efforts, Fogler was named the Summit League Defensive Player of the Week, marking the second time this season she has earned the honor.
