MACOMB, Ill. - The IUPUI men's soccer team looks to continue its winning ways when it heads to Macomb to take on Western Illinois in Summit League action on Saturday (Oct. 15). Kickoff is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Eastern at John MacKenzie Alumni Field.

IUPUI (4-7-2, 1-0-1 Summit) has been hot of late, winning three-in-row by a combined 5-0 score. The Jaguars opened this week with a 1-0 win over Western Michigan on Wednesday night thanks to freshman Sam Fuller's second career score. Prior to the three-game winning streak, IUPUI had scored just four goals in the first 10 games of the year but have since scored five times. Perez Agaba, Ian Block and Fuller lead the team with two goals each and senior Yogi Snider has a team-high three assists in nine starts. Both Kyle Hyland and Matt Guy have a goal and two assists and are tied for second on the squad in total points.

The Jags have continued to be led by the defensive efforts of senior Tyler Keever in goal and the back four in front of him. Keever and his teammates have gone more than 315 straight minutes without allowing a goal as the Indianapolis-native's goals against average is down to 1.06. He's upped his personal total to five shutouts this season and 11 in his four-year career with the recent scoreless streak.

Western Illinois (6-5-1, 1-1 Summit) recently had its own three-game winning streak snapped with a 2-0 loss to IPFW last Saturday. Senior midfielder Daniel Lewis leads the team with three goals and Husref Jupic has two goals and three assists in 11 games. Senior goalkeeper Andy Ryan, who was an All-Summit League performer last season, has a 0.89 GAA and five shutouts this year with 54 saves in 11 games.

IUPUI is 9-6-1 all-time against Western Illinois including a 2-1 win over WIU at Kuntz Stadium.
