INDIANAPOLIS -- Having gone 6-2 at The Jungle in the 2009 season, the IUPUI volleyball team will look to continue their success in the Circle City when they host Oral Roberts and Centenary on Friday and Saturday evening, respectively.  Both matches will begin at 7 p.m. ET.

IUPUI (11-4, 3-2 Summit) will host 'Club Night' on Friday when the Golden Eagles of Oral Roberts (6-7, 2-3 Summit) pay a visit to The Jungle.  All attendees under the age of 18 can receive free admission to the match by printing out the flyer available by clicking here

With a win on Friday, the Jaguars will open an early two-game lead over Oral Roberts, who is a perennial contender to reach The Summit League Tournament, for fourth-place in the conference.  IUPUI sits one-half game behind South Dakota State for third place.

The match will possibly be a battle of the conference's top two setters - IUPUI's Danielle Goodnight and ORU's Juliane Vieira.  Last year, Goodnight led The Summit in assists while being named to the conference's first team, while Vieira was named Setter of the Year in The Summit despite receiving second-team honors.

Currently, Vieira and Goodnight are first and third in assists-per-set, respectively, in the conference; with 9.76 assists per set, Goodnight trails Vieira by one assist per set this season.

The Jaguars' experience this season with five seniors runs in direct contrast to Oral Roberts, who have relied upon six freshmen to ease the loss of seven letterwinners from their 2008 squad.  The youth is one of the main reasons the Golden Eagles are looking for their first road win in conference play and hold a 2-5 road mark.

While IUPUI holds a 3-0 mark at home in conference play, Centenary (3-12, 0-5 Summit) has not won a conference match in over a year, entering this weekend.  The Ladies have struggled away from the Gold Dome, going 0-6.

The Jaguars will look to extend the 12-0 series lead they hold all-time versus Centenary.
