Dig for the Cure information
INDIANAPOLIS -- Leading the nation in digging, the IUPUI volleyball team will put their defense to good use on Saturday, Oct. 18, when they take part in the Dig for the Cure. During their match against IPFW, fans can donate money to Komen for the Cure on a flat or per-dig basis. The match will also be 'Dollar Night' for fans, as attendees to the match will pay $1 for a ticket.
IUPUI, who leads the country at 18.89 digs per set, will be looking to use their prowess towards a good cause Saturday evening. Last season at The Jungle, IUPUI and IPFW staged a five-set thriller, in which the Mastadons came out on top, 3-2.
Fans can donate to Komen for the Cure in two ways: via a flat donation or on a per-dig basis. IUPUI will be accepting donations on the night of the match, as well.
