Women's Basketball's Janna Eichelberger earned her first Sahm's Student-Athlete of the Month honor after leading IUPUI in scoring and rebounding in December. Eichelberger averaged 11.7 ppg and 7.7 rpg, while shooting 50.0 percent from the floor. Eichelberger tacked on 1.2 spg and 1.0 assists per game as the Jags posted a 2-4 record in the month. Eichelberger scored in double figures in four of the six games, which included consecutive double-doubles against Centenary and Southern Illinois where she scored a career-high 21 points and grabbed 13 rebounds against the Ladies, before pouring in 17 points and snatching 10 boards vs. the Salukis.
