Junior Mia Ettl has been named the IUPUI Female Student-Athlete of the Month for the month of April. The left-handed hitting outfielder batted .322 with seven homers and 20 runs batted in over 21 games in the month of April. 

Ettl notched four multi-hit and six multi-RBI games during the month, while posting a team-high .763 slugging percentage and .394 on-base percentage. She also posted five doubles and scored 10 runs for the month and had a pair of five-game hitting streaks. 

Among Ettl's highlights were a 3-for-4 effort against Centenary on April 10 that included two homers and a career-high five RBI. She also homered in the game before and after the Centenary contest, totaling four long balls in a three-game span. At Dayton on April 21, Ettl blasted a grand slam in a 1-for-3 effort. She was later named The Summit League Player of the Week on April 27.

For the season, Ettl drilled a school record 12 homers and drove in a team-high 34 runs, falling one shy of the program's single-season record at the Division I level. She also finished the year with a school record .658 slugging percentage and tied for the team lead with a .401 on-base percentage. 

Defensively, she posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage which included seven outfield assists.
