Maya Lacognato helped IUPUI to the program's first-ever 2-0 start in program history, including tallying a pair of goals in the come-from-behind win at SIUE on Sunday (Aug. 21). She scored twice in the second half to help IUPUI ultimately overcome deficits of 1-0 and 2-1 in the contest.

It marked her tenth and 11th scores of her collegiate career and her fifth career game-winning goals. It also marked her second career multi-goal game and her first since her freshman campaign.
