Svejda was one of two Jaguars to card an opening round, 1-under 71 at the Kiawah Island Classic on Sunday (Mar. 1) to help the Jaguars to an opening round 288 and sit second among the 53-team field. The opening round, even par 288 set a new school record for a single round versus par and was one shot over the program's best ever 287 back in 2011. It was Svejda's eighth round of the season of par or better.
