IUPUI junior basketball player Mikale Rogers has been named the department's Female Athlete of the Month for November 2015. The Indianapolis-native helped the women's basketball team to a 4-1 start to the season, including wins over Marquette and VCU. 

For the month, Rogers averaged 12.0 points and 7.8 rebounds per game while shooting 57.9 percent from the floor.

Rogers opened the season with 19 points and seven boards in the overtime loss at Eastern Illinois (Nov. 13) before then helping the Jaguars reel off four straight victories to cap the month. 

In the win at Marquette, she turned in nine points and a career-high 14 boards and then followed with 19 points and seven boards in the come-from-behind home win over VCU. She was later named Summit League Player of the Week for her efforts. 

Rogers capped the month with a double-double in an easy win over IU Southeast, posting 13 points and 11 boards in just 18 minutes of action.
