Sophomore third baseman Roni Patterson has been named the IUPUI Student-Athlete of the Month for the month of March. 

Patterson led the Jaguars in hitting during the month as they went 11-7 to improve to 19-10 overall. Patterson hit .377 with six home runs, 13 RBI and seven stolen bases, while boasting an on-base percentage of .500 and a slugging percentage of .755.

The Fishers, Ind.-native registered a hit in 13 of 18 games last month, including five multi-hit games. In the final week of the month, Patterson hit .500 with a pair of three-hit games en route to being named the Summit League Offensive Player of the Week.
