Lauren Gronke joined the IUPUI Athletics Staff in September 2017 as Assistant Director of External Affairs & Ticket Operations. She elevated to the role of Assistant A.D. for Marketing, Promotions and Fan Engagement in the August 2022. In her role, she'll spearhead the marketing efforts for the department and in-game promotions for men's and women's basketball. She'll also aid in the oversight of the Jaguars' ticketing operations with the primary focus being on men's and women's basketball sales.Â
Before IUPUI, Gronke spent the past year as a Group Sales Account Executive with the ECHL Indy Fuel. The Fuel averaged better than 3,500 patrons per game during her lone season with the club, playing at the newly renovated Indiana Farmers Coliseum. The club boasted a franchise record 6,549 fans at a January 2017 contest as part of their annual "Blackhawks Night".Â
Gronke spent a year prior as a Ticket Services Intern with the Triple-A Indianapolis Indians, providing service and assistance to all operations related to the Ticket Department, Premium Services and Special Events. She assisted a Ticket Sales Executive service his client base of over $700,000 in revenue by finalizing and communicating to his accounts, while also managing all ticket related emails that came into the Indians organization.
Gronke began her sales career selling for the 2015 Big Ten Football Championship game and the 2016 Big Ten Basketball Tournament. She was responsible for point-of-sale transactions for the Big Ten Championship Fan Fest and men's basketball tournament.Â
A native of suburban Chicago, Gronke graduated from Indiana State in 2016 with her degree in Recreation & Sports Management. While at ISU, she was involved in residential life, Sigma Alpha Pi, Alpha Lambda Delta, Club KRS and the Resident Hall L.E.A.F. Committee.Â
