Lauren Rawson was promoted to Assistant A.D. for Sports Medicine in July 2019 after serving four years as an athletic trainer on the Jaguars' staff. In her current role, she oversees the medical coverage and medical budget for the entire department of all 18 sports and nearly 300 student-athletes. She also continues to serve as the primary point of contact for medical inquiries and handling insurance claims.
She initially joined the IUPUI Athletic Training staff in July 2015 and provided primary coverage to the women’s soccer and women’s tennis teams. Before that she served two years as a graduate assistant athletic trainer and one year as full-time intern athletic trainer at the University of Omaha.
While at Omaha, Rawson worked with the Mavs' women’s soccer, softball, cross country and track and field teams. She earned her Master’s degree from Omaha in 2014 after she completed her Bachelor’s degree in athletic training from The Ohio State University in 2012.
She is NATA BOC certified and is also certified in Graston Technique and a certified American Heart Associate CPR Instructor.
